Here’s the reason why I haven’t shared this interview for a month after its release!
Imposter Syndrome
Disproportionately affects high achievers who feel:
- Like you don’t belong
- Like you only got through in life by luck
- Difficulty to accept accomplishments
So here we are, the Inspirational Australians podcast based out of Melbourne.
A result of Juggle House Experiences being in the Top 3 finalists in the Awards Australia Community Achievement Customer Service category.
Inside the interview I include two of my favourite quotes that I have in my house and try to remind myself everyday:
- The energy of your mind is the essence of life
- Worry is interest paid in advance for a debt you may never owe
Josh and I also speak about:
Growing up on a farm where we worked hard and once a week did our shopping and collected the very important mail!
Customer service tips and tricks.
The importance of being connected to community.
The Awards process and being nominated by Jo, who had a wonderful day touring her own backyard.
Parenting hurdles.
Instant gratification in a fast-paced world.
Latest trends and destinations in South Australian Tourism.
Inspiration in the form of resilient humans who overcome adversity – on the spot Delta Goodrem was the first person who popped into my mind!
Photo: my little family on the Australia Day long weekend a few years ago, where we spent the whole weekend cutting wood then dressed up with cool sunnies and Aussie tattoos amongst the dust and grit. My kids didn’t even get paid $2 an hour – they just helped.
My hopes and dreams from this interview experience:
to overcome imposter syndrome
and anxiety.
(And maybe one day to meet Delta Goodrem!)
When you listen to this interview, I hope you feel the same warmth and gratitude as I feel everyday.
